Simcha ("Simcha," "the studio," "we," "us," or "our") is a small art studio creating handcrafted Jewish art, ketubot, and commissioned pieces. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit simchawedding.art (the "Site") or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you reach out through our contact form or place an order or commission enquiry, you may share your name, email address, phone number, and any details you choose to include in your message (for example, what you would like us to create). Our contact form opens WhatsApp so you can send your message directly to us — we do not store form submissions on this website.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages you view. This is used for security, to keep the Site running, and to understand general usage.
Cookies. The Site uses only the minimal cookies needed for it to function and remain secure. We do not use cookies for advertising. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiries and messages.
- To discuss, prepare, and fulfil orders and commissioned artwork.
- To operate, maintain, and secure the Site.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have specifically asked us to.
How your information is shared
We share information only as needed to run the studio and the Site:
- Messaging. When you use the contact form or order button, your message is sent through WhatsApp (Meta), subject to their own privacy practices.
- Website hosting. The Site is hosted by Vercel, which processes basic technical and log data on our behalf.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.
Third-party links and services
The Site links to and may display content from third-party services such as Instagram, Etsy, Redbubble, Spotify, and WhatsApp. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services, and we encourage you to review their policies.
Data retention
We keep the messages and order details you send us only for as long as needed to respond to you, complete your project, and meet legal or accounting requirements. You may ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain uses of it. To make a request, please contact us using the details below and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
